No Official Cloud County 24-Hour Feed
The Cloud County Sheriff’s official navigation provides facility details, visitation rules, services, and contact information. It does not provide a “released today” page, current roster, searchable booking archive, or a filter for people released during the last 24 hours. No official update schedule, display fields, photograph field, or web-retention period can therefore be stated.
The absence of a public feed does not mean the underlying event was never recorded. Jail-management records ordinarily attach a custody movement to a booking. For a Cloud County booking, ask the Sheriff for the existing record showing actual departure time, the recorded release or transfer code, and the receiving custodian or destination if maintained. The result may be narrower than a daily list, but it answers the key question with an originating record.
Check Cloud County Releases Today
Begin with enough information to separate the correct booking from a same-name person. A full name, known alias, approximate booking date, case number, and booking number are useful. Do not collect extra identifiers simply because a search form might accept them.
- Open the official VINELink service, select Kansas, and search the matching county-jail record by name or available identifier.
- Confirm that the result names the right person and facility. Record the custody status and event time shown, but treat the entry as a notification lead.
- Call the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center jail line at 785-243-8164. Ask whether the event ended Cloud County custody and whether it was a community release or a transfer.
- Check the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal for the Cloud County case and read the bond, dismissal, sentencing, probation, remand, or other relevant entry.
- When exact time, reason, or destination matters, send a Kansas Open Records Act request for the existing booking and release record.

What Cloud County Release Records Show

Request a Cloud County Same-Day Record
The official Cloud County KORA page provides a request form and directs requests to the county clerk at 811 Washington Street, Concordia, Kansas 66901. The page says requesters should receive an initial response within three business days and that copying, staff, and mailing charges may apply. Requests estimated above $50 require advance payment. For a jail-created record, identify the Cloud County Sheriff or Law Enforcement Center as the originating department.
A focused request can ask for an electronic copy of the existing booking/release record for the named person and approximate booking date, including the booking number, actual release date and time, coded reason, and destination or receiving custodian if recorded. Ask for a code legend and segregable nonexempt fields. Request an itemized estimate before costs are incurred.
K.S.A. 45-218 addresses inspection, K.S.A. 45-219 permits reasonable fees and advance payment, K.S.A. 45-220 covers request procedures, and K.S.A. 45-221 lists exemptions. A detailed initial response is not always the same as immediate production. Ask when the record will be available if review or redaction causes delay.
Kansas VINE for Cloud County Releases
Kansas VINE is the official statewide county-jail custody-notification layer. It can help with a specific person and may send notice of release, transfer, or escape. Those are different events. Registration should occur while the matching person remains in county custody, and the facility and identity must be checked before relying on an alert.
The Kansas Attorney General expressly says VINE does not include people held in KDOC state prisons. Use KASPER after a person enters state custody. The Attorney General’s current web page and its linked guide publish phone numbers that differ by one digit, so the live official page or VINELink route should be used rather than repeating an unverified number.
VINE is not a Cloud County Sheriff app and is not a public daily release feed. No sheriff-branded inmate or recent-release mobile application was identified from official county sources. A custody-change alert is helpful evidence, but the jail event remains the source for exact time, coded reason, and destination.
Why Cloud County Names Leave Rosters
A current-custody roster is built to show who is held now. Once a person is processed out, the name may vanish, which makes a current roster a poor historical tool. A missing entry can also follow a data correction or movement to another facility. Cloud County publishes no official roster or recent-release archive that documents how long a departed person remains visible.
The strongest confirmation pairs two records. The Sheriff event establishes the operational time and movement code. The court docket supplies the legal authority, such as bond, dismissal, a time-served sentence, probation, or a remand. When the movement is into a Kansas prison, KASPER adds the state-custody status. This pairing prevents a roster change from being stretched beyond what it proves.
No Cloud County Sheriff Release App
No official Cloud County source reviewed identifies a sheriff inmate-search app, recent-release app, or social feed that publishes same-day jail exits. VINEMobile may offer access to the VINE notification service, but that does not turn it into a county roster. Unofficial pages using “Cloud County Jail roster” in their titles did not establish county adoption, provenance, update timing, or correction practices.
Do not substitute arrest posts or local-news reports for release proof. An arrest photo says that a booking occurred, not how or when custody ended. If an unofficial page supplies a possible lead, confirm the event with the Law Enforcement Center, VINE, and the court rather than repeating its status as official.
Released or Transferred from Cloud County?
A community release ends the jail’s physical custody and can follow bond, dismissal, time served, probation, or another order. A transfer ends the Cloud County booking but not custody. A sentenced person may move to KDOC, while another person may go to a different county, federal authorities, or immigration custody.
